We give THANKS for your support of Spark Community Café. Although the doors of the Café closed on July 1, we remain committed to supporting families who struggle with access to food through Spark of Hope.
After suspending meal deliveries for 10 weeks, on September 17 we resumed delivering oven-ready, family-style meals to 60+ Woodford County households.
Spark of Hope is the most cost effective way for us to increase access to food for families and seniors.
Why do we do this? Because we want to give hope to those who struggle to feed their families and we know we can make a difference – because the families tell us we do.
“I am amazed you all can do this for us. Many people in this apartment complex are struggling to make ends meet and these meals are such a blessing.”
“My food bill is so much more manageable with this. I can pay my rent and other bills and still have a couple of nights of a hot meal.”
“I really depend on these meals. My legs are such that I can no longer stand at the stove and cook my own meals. I can make one pan of these meals last for several days”.
